After there approaches the festivity of the Virgin of Carmen the Tunas return to this affectionate quarter of our city that is the Barrio del Carmen, since in Murcia many quarters will exist, a few children and ancient, big and modern others, but none will take the supremacy from the one that is "the quarter" murciano par excellence: the Barrio del Carmen, which is simultaneously ancient and big, and with a big proper personality.

The Barrio del Carmen has become Villain, since in his Management Holidays there has already taken nature letter this International Music Festival that organizes the University Tuna of the District of Murcia 1912, and that this year celebrates his VII edition, of which I have had the honor of being nominated a Grand Master. An appointment for that I am grateful and that causes me a special satisfaction not only for my big love to the musician of rope and the vocal groups, but because I also was villain, in whose need I began precisely in this Tuna of District of Murcia 1912.

I want to wish to the components of all the foreign prickly pears that take part in this Music Festival, which they have a happy stay in this cozy city of Murcia. You have to know that you are in a city of those of major tradition in tunas, since not in vain the organizing tuna of the Music Festival is the most ancient of Murcia and the third one of Spain.
