But above all, the taste of timeless troubadours and minstrels who pluck instruments, keeping alive the traditions inherited from the medieval university. These eternal bards who have won the right to wear their jackets and their cloacks with honour.
It is an honor to me that the “Tuna universitaria del Distrito de Murcia” has named me as Godmother in this thirteenth edition of the International Competition of Tunas "Barrio del Carmen". This will allow me to enjoy, once again, the hospitality of the people of Murcia and you may just discover this great party that welcomes Tunas from all corners of the world.
The happy days of youth, its healthy playfulness, it’s contagious enthusiasm and eternal music will do, these days in Murcia, a beloved and popular event.
My deepest thanks for inviting me to share with you this holiday, and for letting me be part of the magic of this unique event.
