I am be really grateful of that this year you have chosen yours me, as godmother of this International Contest of Tunas. And I am sincere when I say that the tuna, the rascal ones, his music, his songs, his rounds, his jokes, his mischievousness, always have woken a sensation up in me on returning to the university years that sometimes the life makes you forget.

The effort that you realize here year after year, in order that the tuna continues having his eternal youth is a fact very of being grateful and of ensalzar, since without the happiness and the romanticism of the rascal ones, the university cities would lose great part of his essence.

There is incredible the sensation that produces me to see his caps and, especially, to enjoy the notes of bandurrias, tambourines, guitars and lutes. To listen to his serious voices in the nights, it is a universal recollection that here in Murcia you have could guard with zeal during already more than one century. Congratulation!
